It’s January, it’s 2020 and our annual AusDenver Australia Day celebration is right around the corner!
Kindly hosted by fellow Aussie Robbie Dawe at his “Casey’s Bistro & Pub” in Stapleton.
We take over the whole pub and turn it into an Aussie Pub for the day. Wear your best (or worst) Aussie get-up. Come ready to party and have fun. Everyone is welcome!
1:00pm – 3:00pm: Family friendly. Face-painting, balloons, temporary tattoos. Free swap meet table. Bring your kids Aussie gear that Nana sent that they’ve now grown out of. Hand-me-ups and hand me downs. Pay it forward and maybe snag a special outfit or toy for your own kid. (Not a junk offload btw- Please be thoughtful!)
3:00pm – 5:00pm: Live acoustic Aussie music from the one and only Mark Noller… with special guest singer Matina Theodorakopoulos. Vegemite eating contest. Skippy re-runs and more.
5:00pm – 8:00pm: DJ time. Aussie playlists. Peter Garrett dance contest. General silliness and singalongs.
